2nd TV Episode has no video

Server Version#: 1.40.2.8395 (Windows)
Player Version#: 10.16.0.758 (Nvidia Shield)

I watch a TV Episode. It plays perfectly. The next episode starts. I see nothing but a black screen. I can still hear the audio.

Just started today.

I see that my current Player was released Yesterday, June 3rd.

This isn’t a server version number which is only at version 1.40.2. That looks like a few versions old of our Desktop app.

So this is after the auto-play countdown? Is refresh rate or resolution switching enabled in the android app. If you play that same video on it’s own it plays fine?

That was the version of the desktop software, not the server software. Fixed the server version number which is 1.40.2.8395.

Yes it’s after the auto-play countdown. Refresh rate switch and resolution switching are both disabled. yes if I exit the playback, then play the next episode, it plays just fine.

Does it happen with all shows/files/codecs? subtitles on? Does it matter if transcoding or direct play?

I could not reproduce so may need to get the android tv logs and server logs.

No subtitles.
No transcoding, only direct play. IE I only direct play.

I’ll check for other files/codecs etc.

Just wanted to add - that happened to me on my nvidia shield too a few months ago which I have not used like that since. I tend to watch on a pc. Thats 2 for the nvidia shield autoplay. Same episodes worked fine on pc version.
