3 Plex Issues: Remote Server Access, Casting to Sonos, and Music Static

Dear Plex,

I have been having a significant number of issues (3 mentioned here) after switching internet providers last month. The Network Name and Password stayed the same as before. It was an eero 6 network updated to have a eero 6+ Pro Router.

Issue #1: Since that time, I have been unable to get Remote Access to stay connected. This is with the exact same settings as before. I have it turned on a port forwarded to 32400. It keeps switching from connected to unconnected.

Issue #2: I am unable to cast anything to a Sonos speaker from the Plex app. I did have to restart, and in some cases, reset the Sonos speakers after the eero 6+ Pro was added to the mix. All of the speakers are functional, however, if I trying casting from Plex, whether on the desktop Plex Amp or my phone’s Plex Amp it will maybe play 1-10 seconds of the selected song and then essentially lock up (I say essentially because the app is still running but it won’t respond to moving to a new track or selecting a new song/album. This has been extremely frustrating for something that worked fine before. This is a core function and a big part of why I purchased the Lifetime Pass. If I try going at it from the Sonos app instead of Plex, I can play sometimes, though it repeatedly loses connection to the Plex server. I am doing all of this on the same network and subnet. It is important to note Plex Amp plays and works as expected when using local speakers to the PC instead of casting to Sonos.

Issue #3: I have noticed the sound of static, or more specifically, a sound that would happen similar to when audio levels peak out. It’s as if everything is maxed out on volume but it actually isn’t. I noticed this about a week ago. I have no idea what the cause could be. I notice it in the car and when listening in headphones over bluetooth. Other services work fine when I play music (like through Amazon music it sounds crystal clear).
