So I am logged in on my android device, I go to my pc and sign in to my account because I want to link my massive music library so i can stream it through my phone. The dialogue box pops up for a 4 character code to enter, but I cannot find this code anywhere on my app or in my email and these are the only places I can think to look. Please help me find this code to lonk my pc and phone!

If you are already logged in, you don’t need the link code.
Ok, so why is my PC asking for one after I log in. Like I am logged in on my phone, looking at the app. I go to my desktop and sign into plex so I can upload my music library, but after sign in, it prompts me for the code and there are no options to do anything else…
That most likely means that the PC app itself asks to get linked to your account.
Try https://app.plex.tv instead, for administrating your server.
For the PC app, I’d need to know first whether you have installed “Plex” or “Plex Media Player”.
I currently do not have either installed on the PC. I was just going to the website and logging in. Should I try installing one of those and signing in? Or can everything be done via web?

So which app is asking you to link it, using a code?
Oh… that link works now… before when I tried to follow links to my sign in I was instantly redirected to a link code page. But that does not seem to be happening anymore in any browser or new tab etc… So I think we are all set to go now, but I have no idea what changed as I cannot recreate it anymore. So I can just use the site as normal now I believe. Thank you for all of the help!
