Thank you for this. Upgraded to 1.25.9.5673 today and had lost access to Plex off my QNAP for the last several hours! I was trying everything I could Google to fix this!
Folks,
For those of you who are having problems with PMS failing to restart properly from App Center,
Please attach the ZIP of the PMS Logs directory and a ps -ef | grep -i plexm
The correction to deal with hung processes was released some time ago and has been working for everyone so far. If there’s a new deviation, I would like to see it and address it.
Hi all,
I have the same problem with PMS. latest version v1.26.0.5715-8cf78dab3
I tried your cmd ps -ef | grep -i plex But the PID change all time and i canot kill it :’(
What can i try to fix it ? Thx

LogsPlexMediaServer.zip (12.2 KB)

Above shows that plex is not running, so maybe something else stole port 32400 ?
Try this:
netstat -tulpn | grep 32400
Dane22,
I tried your cmd. and it result :
I unistall and reinstall the qpkg PMS (something i had already done several times…)
But now it Works Greate !
The result is weird. o_O
How does-it possible ?
First img shows that myunpmediasrv, which is not Plex, used the same port
Second shows, that PMS is now up and running again, and listen on all IP addresses
Thx a lot Dane22.
