4K clear support

Hi,
i want to know what is the background behind the overload for 4K movies? I have an brand new samsung TV using Plex and a qnap storage. There are no problems net internal with 1080p movies, but every 10 sec the buffering in 4K movies is very annoying. I tested the same equipment with twonky and the result is - it works. no buffering. In a GB ethernet it is a must that it works. Remote slow thats i understand. What are your intensions and reworks in the next releases to solve it? And when will it be? The other question is: Why i couldn’t see every movie in the database.
At least solving questions above and your product will be perfect. I like it.

What server version are you currently running?

Plex is probably transcoding your video. I use the Plex for Kodi plugin and 4k videos streams perfectly without any buffer

Hi - Same problem with a QNAP TS-453B and Plex directly connected via HDMI to 4K TV. I haven’t tried the Plex for Kodi setup yet. I assume I need to install Kodi and set up libraries in it and THEN use the P for K as the interface? Thanks for any advice in advance.
