I have recently setup plex streaming from PC server to firestick 4k. 4k streams are set as direct play but receiver is not playing sound through rear speakers. I have the same playing through xbox one although unable to play 4k all other audio content plays with 5.1audio so my thoughts are this is an issue with the Plex application on the Firestick. This appears to have been mentioned in a previous post but has now been closed but hasn’t been resolved yet
Surround sound not working on Plex app on Fire Stick 4k is anybody else having this issue.
