8K direct playback does not work anymore since last update on Samsung 950R TV

Server Version#: Version 1.20.3.3437
Player Version#: Version 5.2.1 (Samsung Smart TV - Samsung Q950RBTXXC 8K)

Hello,

In the previous version of the Plex application, I was able to play several 8K HEVC videos directly without any server transcoding, but since the last update of the Plex Tizen application, the server is transcoding the video in 4K. And when I disable the transcoder in the server side, the player displays an error (video not found).
It seams that the player does not send the correct supported formats anymore to the server, and the server is not able to accept sending the native 8K HEVC stream to the TV anymore…
Could you please correct the bug in the next Plex Tizen application version ?

P.S.:
The concerned videos are all using the following characteristics :

Woah, H.265 L6! That should be supported by the TV. Neat!

Out of curiosity, are these sample files or something you encoded?

I can’t help directly, but I imagine it would be valuable to share the Plex Server and TV app logs showing the transcoding decision process.

I assume these don’t have DTS Audio and you don’t have subtitles enabled?

This one is a sample video taken from youtube. Originally in AV1 and that I have reencoded in HEVC : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UN3uF3990Q0&t=47s

No, it has AAC audio.

Again, the same file was working fine in previous version of the player on the TV.

How can I retreave the log from the server ?

Regards.
