Ok… Apologies this has probably been requested with the idea of a streaming channel on the plex home screen that basically streams your content at random 1 after another or you could set a folder up to play just that folder, basically, I’m thinking it’s like your own cinema channel that’s a jukebox on autoplay you and your users can watch this where there’s always something playing, the same thing they currently have on SHUDDER for those that’s seen it 24hour streaming channel
Thanks, but it’s video I need, I already run a radio station online for audio but same concept like it’ll play what’s on your server in a video window on the home page and your friends can also see this playing real time so if they can’t find anything to watch they’ll see this stream
I think you are asking for a feature that is called PseduoTV. There was talk about it in an article a year or so ago about an internal hackathon that built a proof of concept, but nothing released to the public so far.
In the meantime, the only current way that I am aware of is DizqueTV. It simulates a network tuner and requires some advanced knowledge to configure and set up.
Fair enough, but yeas that’s the idea when myself or any of my friends log on to my plex server on Web or firestick it’ll be already playing something in a window on the home page.
To be honest with you I’m not a coder I’m just a guy that loves movies I wouldn’t know where to start with advanced stuff, maybe plex will make this happen in future who knows
