A new device was used to sign in to your Plex account

I got an email this morning from ‘‘A new device was used to sign in to your Plex account’’
i did not recognize the location nor the IP. (it was from the USA, i have not been there for a while)

I changed my password immediately. anything else I can do?
thanks
Michiel

Did you select “Sign out connected devices after password change” when changing your password? If not, you should do it.

good point. rechanged it again + added checkbox. i there a way to clear authorized devices in admin panel. or do I need to remove them one by one as well?

that would help give me a clean list of devices logging in. i should be able to recognize all of them. I have a SONOS account linked to my plex. would that possibly be the US based account that logged in again for some reason? i guess SONOS would use some US based servers? i dont see any weird names in my authorized list although hard to see as some are just firefox or Chrome or…

You don’t need to remove the devices I guess, if you clicked the check box, they need to re-sign in again and they can only do that with your new password. You should be on the safe side here.

Regarding Sonos I am not sure how it works, try reconnecting that device/account and see how it behaves. A sonos device itself should sign in from your location and not from the US, but I am not 100% sure here.
