After finishing the installation/MSI installer, the setup launches in the browser and after spinning for a few minutes, I get this screen.

1.18.7 isn’t the current version of Plex. If you’re just getting it installed now, I would strongly encourage you to get the current version from the official download location.

Have you had that installer for a while, or did you download it recently from somewhere else?
That error message can occur if you have a previous partial or damaged installation. Is this the first time you’ve ever attempted to install Plex on this system?
I would encourage you to start with a complete uninstall, and then to start fresh with the current version.
