Hi, i have been having to manually update my Plex for a while now and recently it stopped working altogether. I tried to carry out repair, turned off my firewall, rebooted, uninstalled (cleared registry as per numerous entries already listed in the forum rebooted and installed earlier version, i get same issue. So ripped all out again and tried with a fresh download of the installation and same again I am on Win10 OS.Logs.zip (8.7 MB)
It looks like the Plex server has multiple network adapters… There is a DNS issue that is preventing the machine from resolving the plex.tv address. If this is a Windows machine, you could try disabling the ‘extra’ network adapters so that they aren’t getting in the way.

I have disabled to other “adapters” but i am still unable to complete the install as i still get the error and unable to claim server. Attached latest log, apologies for delay had to wait for a friend to help me as i am not technical.Plex Media Server.zip (248.0 KB)
I am still not able to launch Plex, i followed previous instructions but get the same error trying to find my server and if i launch in the plex app nothing.
Please can i get some further assistance ?
The most recent log files you posted still show a DNS error where your PMS is not able to resolve the addresses needed to communicate with the main ship. Open the Plex Media Server.log and search for the word ‘ERROR’ or ‘PLEX.TV’ to find the entries that show this error… Until PMS can resolve the plex.tv address I dont think it will work because it has not finished the installation. Part of the installation will register your server with Plex so it can be claimed, but it cannot complete this task since it cannot resolve the address.
I am not sure what to do next, i am able to RDP to this WIN10 machine from my main computer and able to browse the internet, download install files for Plex etc. Disabled Vipre, rebooted PC, switch, router and sky modem nothing.
I am at a loss here, what is the point of paying for my Plex Pass when i cant use Plex.
