I know this is a known issue and I’m hoping this can get expedited to be fixed. The AAC and DTS audio channels are not coming out right on the PS3. The center channel is coming from the right speaker.
Again, I know this is a known issue. Is it possible to get this fixed? I am a paying customer solely to play plex on my ps3 and if it doesn’t get fixed there isn’t any point to me paying for it anymore. I’ll just play it on my Roku which has no problems.
There just isn’t a point to paying for it with it not working on my PS3.
I stopped my Plex Pass as soon as it went free for Playstation because there’s been so little progress since it came out. It’s not entirely Plex’s fault, they’re hamstrung quite a bit by Sony’s media platform, but the end result is the same. As of a month or two ago, they were testing a new build of Sony’s platform that looked like it might work for Plex and solve a lot of the major bugs. If that works for them, we might have a new round of server and client work. I look forward to being able to justify a Plex Pass again.
