There doesn’t appear to be the ability to set the default library for DVR recordings.
Currently I have 3 libraries: Movies, TV and DVR. When I add a recording, the dropdown menu ‘Add to Library’ defaults to ‘TV’ and then I have to keep switching this to ‘DVR’.
Ideally would like to be able to set the default so I don’t have to switch the library for every recording.

I agree. I keep going back into the recording to ensure I selected the correct library. If they ever get around to allowing non-admins to record I should be able to lock the TV and Movie libraries without the ability to select.
I can’t seem to find where my recordings are being stored or how to delete them.
The ability to set the default library, OR if it just always suggested the last one used would be fine with me.

I actually have 4 libraries. Two for my TV and Movies collections and two for DVR TV and movies. The library combo box is smart enough to choose TV when I record TV and Movies when I record Movies, but I can’t get it to default to my DVR libraries. Please add this feature.
Can’t believe how unresponsive Plex development is. Three years later and this option still doesn’t exist. Unsurprisingly, it’s in Emby right where you’d expect it, but then again, Emby devs add features that users want, rather than gimmicks to try and hook new customers.

This is probably an oversight on Plex’s part, but - until they realize it, or users make their case (hasn’t done much in 3 years, has it?) - here’s the work-around:
Plex is looking for a Folder to put recordings into. I happen to only have one TV Show Library (with many folders scattered over 6 HDDs), but I created a Folder so all recordings will go into it and not be scattered to heck and back in with a thousand other shows/movies:
The ‘Folders’ you create - and lead Plex to - can be in any Library you want.
Can’t they?
As soon as you create that folder and add it to a library, it’s going to be a valid target to aim recordings at and as soon as you aim one there (recording options - when you schedule the recording) - it’s the new default.
Aim a Movie recording at your ‘TV-Movies’ folder - it becomes the default for ‘DVR Movies’.
