I have read that the only way to sync iTunes playlists to Plex is if the library is in the default location?
For all those people who keep their library and music stored on a NAS drive or non “C:/users” - I’d like to be able to sync itunes playlists with Plex from this non ‘default’ location.
My own computer setup is that I run a windows laptop which runs my Plex Media Server and is on all the time.
I have a 6TB NAS drive that contains all the content on my Plex (movies/tv/photos/music)
my laptop has itunes on it but the C: drive is just for the OS and so has no room for all the music - hence the library is not in the default location. I have a D: partition on th laptop in which a local copy of my music exists, but in fact all the music and the library is read from the NAS drive - this way when I’m home I can play my same music either to the windows PC or to my MAC but keeping one library in sync always.
I hope this may be possible.
