Is it possible to use my phone app to access my Plex server from another house (via their wifi)? If so, how can I do it?
Yes you can but to view/watch/delete(if allow delete is enabled) content. Administration not really possible using the app directly.
Download the app for your phone(assuming android or apple)
Goto Announcements and get the appropriate package for your phone or the online apple app/google play store and download/install.
Log in using your plex credentials. You should see your server listed and your content displayed.
If you don’t then you may not have publish server enabled.
Okay. That’s a whole other beast! Much needs to be known such as how you connect(router setting, firewalls, ISP restrictions, etc…)
