I reinstalled my Plex Server to see if it fixed an issue with the latest release of the iOS app because it just keep crashing.
Now when I access my plex server on my PC it’s wanting me to log in.
This is stupid. Why all of a sudden do I have to log in. There is no option for me to access my movies and tv shows anymore.
If you are being asked to sign in, that means your server is already signed into a Plex account. For security reasons, if the server is signed in, then the client must also sign in. At least initially. Once in Plex Web you can add IP exceptions into your PMS settings.
