Accessing PMS on Nvidia thru Apple TV app

If I wanted to run Plex Media Server on a Nvidia TV but play my media through the plex client app in Apple TV, is that possible?

Or can I only only watchvia the Nvidia TV?

I have been running PMS on an old Mac Mini that now can’t be used on the Apple TV Plex app because PMS can’t be updated to latest version.

Was wondering if I could get an Nvidia as a cheaper option to run PMS than buying a newer Mac Mini if I still wanted to access Plex through Apple Tv
