Plex server is outstanding, and everything has been working great for years.
Last week I updated the server and received a message about switching to a new type of indexing/metadata. I selected to do the update, and since then there appears to be two separate repositories for Actor information.
Specifically, I like looking at the cast in a movie and then clicking on them to see all the other movies I have that they star in. But, since this update, there now appear to be two separate repositories. One repository is all the movies from before the update, the second repository is for all the movies added to plex after the update.
To be more specific, if I go into a movie that I had before the update and click on an actor it shows all the other movies I had before the update, but it does not show any movies that I have added since the update.
If I got into a movie that was added after the update and click on the same actor as in the above example, it only shows movies that were added after the update and it does not show the movies that were displayed when I clicked on the user in the earlier movie.
I’ve also noticed that it displays different photos for the same actor when I click on an older movie vs on a newer one.
Attached are the current agent settings, as I suspect this is related.
