One Actor in two movie libraries (but I only have one movie library)

Windows version#: 10 Pro 21H1

When I upgraded Plex to use the new Plex movie agent, all content added since then has now split all search results on any given Actor - such as John Wayne (new content thinks John Wayne is a new actor and only lists the 3 movies he is in that I added after the upgrade, but there is a second library listed in the search results, and when choosing that library (same library name by the way) all the legacy content with John Wayne shows up there. How do I merge all this metatdata? I only have one Plex movie library, and one Plex TV library. Yet the movie library behaves like it has schizophrenia. Any suggestions?

Refresh Metadata of the whole library and let it run to completion.

Thank Otto! Will refreshing the Metadata remove all the custom tags and movie poster artwork I have added / chosen?

With posters, it depends on whether you selected them before the agent change or after it.
With other textual metadata, nothing should get changed, as long as the orange “lock” has been engaged on the fields.

Try first of a few single movies and check the results.

I went ahead and refreshed all - worked great. No more dual entries for John Wayne, et al. Thanks!
