After using the plex htpc client for a while I found the exit menu which has been added to that client very useful.
Now with the new plex for linux Install plex-desktop on Linux | Snap Store I miss this option. The only way to exit is to kill the app or use the X on the windows which is pain when used in full screen mode.
Can the exit option similar to what is present in the htpc client be added to the plex for linux client.
BTW… I don’t see any tags for this new client so have added the htpc and old media player tags for now.
What is a pain about it? does the x behave differently on linux than the app on mac/windows in full screen? The exit modal is on HTPC because of the nature of it being for TVs controlled with a remote
If your in full screen mode there is no X to click. You have to open up the gnome application menu which brings all the open applications into a windowed screen and from the there you can kill the app.
The htpc app has a dedicated exit option in its menu system.
I can try and upload some screen shots if the team are confused about what I’m talking about. Just let me know but should be fairly objious for anyone using the app on linux.
