when I try to add files from MYCLOUD HOME i.e. photos I do not see any folders I see only a file path structure like /c as if I am looking into a computer
Do you experience this with a server running on the MyCloud Home or are you only using it as storage for a server running on your PC?
I experience this which ever way I try. I have reinstalled after initially having success. Only had Mycloud home for two weeks I know they experienced some problems. I find their new cloud device more difficult to use compared to the original. When I chat to them they tell.me to contact plex.
Mind sharing a screenshot of what you get to see when attempting to add a folder to your library?
IIRC the MyCloud Home models were limited and you couldn’t even assign a different folder (libraries were hard-wired to the default Plex media folders
I think I have found the problem. I had downloaded the plex media server for windows on both desktop and laptop, instead of just enabling plex media via the Mycloud web app. It now points to the content of MYCLOUD HOME. I can now see some photos and view them via plex media srver which shows on my LGTV which is also connected to my router via ethernet cable as is MYCLOUD HOME. Would welcome any comments as some folders say no files photos or videos exist in folder even though I know they are there.
