Add Folder Option Not Available

Hello everyone, I apologize if this topic is not in the correct location.
I am trying to add a library, and during the process, I am supposed to be adding a folder where I browse through my files and choose media folder, an option that doesn’t seem to be available for me.
I am using windows, and I tried both the Plex app and browser.

Are you trying to add that new library on the My Cloud Home (listed on top of your server list in the navigation)?
The Plex Media Server on the My Cloud Home platform has a significant restriction – all libraries are hard-wired based on the media type selection to the related media folder on that NAS.

Library Type Path on your NAS
Movies Plex > Shared Movies
TV Shows Plex > Shared TV Shows
Music Plex > Shared Music
Photos Plex > Shared Photos
Other Videos Plex > Shared Home Videos

Not really, I just added a screenshot to help. I am trying to add a library through the app as Ive seen suggested in every tutorial. yet, I don’t have the option “Add Folder” others seem to have

The question is not so much what app you use to create a library… it’s about on what system/machine your Plex Media Server is running.
From your screenshot, you have multiple servers connected to your account (either because you run those servers or others shared some libraries of their servers with you).

If you clicked the + sign next to the My Cloud Home server entry and the PMS is actually running on that My Cloud Home (not the client/player app but the actual server), you’re running in that exact situation.

Thanks Tom, I think that answers my question.
Still new to plex, trying to figure my way around.
Cheers
