add my own trailers

I’m trying to add my won trailers but I’m think I’m doing it wrong. I read the support instructions on how to do it but still no success??? can someone help???

Particularly your file names.

Toy Story 2 (1999)-trailer
that’s one I just did and did not work

Toy Story 2 (1999)-trailer.mp4 is the name of my trailer and it works great. It’s in the same folder as the movie (/media/movies/T/Toy Story 2 (1999))

I don’t have any outside trailers enabled on my server, so the only ones that play are those I have gotten myself. Just tested this file inside Plex’s Web App and it’s playing great.

Please tell the names of all files (and folders, if any) in that movie’s folder.

main folder: Afro Samurai (2007)
movie: Afro Samurai (2007)
Trailer Folder: Afro Samurai- trailer.mp4

Make that
Trailer file: Afro Samurai-trailer.mp4

and remove the space character after the hyphen
If you already have the -trailer file name suffix, you don’t need the Trailers subfolder.
Do note the use of plural on the folder name(s).

You can also not mix the ‘filename suffix’ with the ‘subfolder’ method.
If you have the filename suffixes in your filenames, make sure to not have any of the reserved subfolders in there and vice versa.

so it is either:

Movies /
   Afro Samurai (2007) /
      Afro Samurai (2007).mp4
      Afro Samurai-trailer.mp4

or

Movies /
   Afro Samurai (2007) /
      Afro Samurai (2007).mp4
      Trailers /
         Afro Samurai.mp4
