Can we please have an option that will disable, by default, all dumb new features that nobody wants? Discover, Streaming Services, “The Upside Down”, and all the other garbage that nobody asked for. Tell your investors and VCs to chill TF out before all your long dedicated users get fed up and flock to Jellyfin or Emby.
I am already testing Jellyfin because of that features no one asked for, and lack of focus on real issues - default original quality streaming being in dev from 3 years or so? GPU subtitle burning anyone? DV tone mapping? Remuxing DV MKV to M2TS for LG?
Just disable the features you don’t use…

As for The Upside Down → disable the seasonal hub in the library customization

2022 clean-up: implemented (options to disable online media sources are available and documented; the same goes for managing recommendations on the user’s home page and library pages).
