I have a 2015 samsung smart tv (no tizen) and would like to add a remote PMS.
I did it and everything is working fine, with opening port on remote router, ecc…
But the problem is that on the plex tv app the option to add server allow to add servers only by entering public ip xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.
Since the ip is dynamic, on the remote router I have a dyn dns service, so every service I want to reach in the remote location doesn’t need to know the public ip address number. With plex everything works fine, but in case the remote ip public address changes I have to change it in the plex tv app every time.
So, am I missing something or is it really working in this way? I think the tv app is really missing a basic and usefull function…
