Actually I can believe it. When you bought plex the supported apps/devices were listed. You want an addition so yes requests have to be made.

Orca’s app keeps crashing on my JS8005, an official app that actually works would be helpful to day the least.
+1 for official. As a dev myself I appreciate the 3rd party work but I paid for a plex pass and I want all the official support and features that come with that. Artificially gating users from the new hotness to protect a legacy codebase is a bit silly.
Plus I’ve had some issues with the legacy app, so now I have to switch over to an Apple TV every time I want to use plex. It’s pretty lame.

+1 for official app, I know Orca had put in a lot of effort but unfortunately that app simply feels outdated to me. You guys have done a lot of excellent work bringing the other apps up to par with any other streaming service both in aesthetics and functionality.
This means I have to boot up my PS4 to use plex most of the time, which I would much prefer not having to do.

Would love to see official support for 2015 models, Orcas app is great, but as some others have said, it feels a little outdated now

I’m sorry but the existing unofficial app, which uses the old PHT interface is infinitely more usable to the poor interface which is the newer official app(s). The occasional loosing of servers is annoying but can be fixed by going to specify one again manually, put in the IP, and then it realises that it can actually find it again.
