using still orca edition on my samsung tv’s…
but when i start the app, it always shows the user offline… i can still watch content tough, since the synology(plex) is on local lan … but why is it showing online?
the tv does have access to internet, youtube and stuff is working
Hi,
I hit the same issue on my 5 years old Samsung TV.
It actually fails to allow local user switching.
Is there any workaround, or shall I go ahead and purchase a new player ?
But can you still login /logout? That still works , I can also remove and rejoin the app with the pincode…
Sometimes I don’t see the offline message then it’s fine… But 4/5 it isn’t …
Everything bis working though, since the server is also on same lan…
What issue do you have? I think it’s related to PMS, something must changed not long ago, I have it on both my Samsung running 2.012, and totally different models
Ok, some more investigation, we can see in left low corner user status , since a few weeks it’s always offline, no idea why .. when I click the green button, to go to user settings, I get screen below, and the app crashes, and Plex is exited…
Is it possible the url of Plex is changed, and the app isn’t finding the link to Plex online anymore?
Hi,
Same issue here. I try to reinstall the app and now I can not get access to the app anymore. There are no more 4 digit number to access the server. Any help from somebody?
Are you also using H series? With orca 2.012? I think our models are not able to contact plex.tc anymore… Therefore you don’t see a code…
For now we are stuck in offline mode, I think you can only add an local PMS now by IP? Does that work?
Hi , thnx for feedback, but PMS settings I already setup to preferred, also on the Samsung app, I haven’t enabled secure settings…
Should it work then? Or are we stuck since this certificate change? Occasionally the tv still logged in, until about a week ago, now it’s always offline
Hey @cristian_filippi , try to setup preferred connection, and setup the app with insecure, that should work , I can still access PMS locally… Didn’t try to remove/readd tough, but I can still watch content locally…
