Add Support nfo or any write to file metadata solution?

Hi, all, does Plex support any metadata solution that read and write from something like nfo/xml file?

I have a 16TB tv-show & JAV library, all organized by nfo file, but plex seems not recognize media from nfo, so how to organize my custom media?

I use a plugin agent called XBMCNFOmovieimporter and the TV variant. I use Emby to get my info and then scan into plex. It’s so much faster for me, especially for TV shows.
