For some types of media, the scrapers are rather lacking. It would be nice to be able to use a file containing metadata that can be used to populate Plex when the file is refreshed. Additionally, an export of the current metadata to that type of file would be helpful as well.
I’ve looked at this before, but it requires that you either have XBMC installed or manually create NFO files. It would be nice if Plex would handle its own import/export of the metadata I entered into it. I’ll take another look at the plug in though.
@notanothername you don’t need XBMC installed, you can use various media managers to create them for you.
