I’ve added a friend to my PMS (not a managed user, but rather a normal Plex user) and he shows as “pending” even though he has accepted the invitation and has even connected to the service via his iPhone. I waited a day, still the same. So I deleted him and re-added with the same result. Any ideas why it’s stuck pending? Running the latest PMS.
Did you invite him to your ‘PLEX HOME’?
Not sure what you mean by that.
I went to Settings > User > Add User > Add an Existing Plex User
Added by email address. Adjusted what libraries are shared out. Didn’t set any restrictions. Hit Add.
The user was in turn sent an email to accept the invite. He accepted and can now view content from my server with the Plex app on his phone. Yet, still shows as pending on the User screen.
Ahh. It’s Settings > Friend > Invite Friend
What you did I believe is added your friend to your HOME NETWORK.
