Hello! So I have a Plex server running and I was trying out a few things and I’ve added a friend to my Plex home, he accepted the invite and then I went to my Plex admin page and… He is not there. Ok, must have missed something, so I tried adding him again, but I the. Got an error saying he is already in my Plex home.
I tried adding some other account and I could see that one created a pending request, so I assume my friend did indeed accept. I can see him in my library access, and even tried removing him and adding again.
When I tried accessing the settings page through my other account and I could see the all the other users in that home, whereas my friend can only see his user and he is the admin of said home.
You have invited this user to use your media.
That does not mean that this user will be in your Plex Home.
Inviting someone to be in your Plex Home has some larger consequences and should generally only be done with someone who is living with you under the same roof.
Ok, so I kinda left this one be as the home access wasn’t that critical, but I just checked and I can finally see the user with a pending invite. He wasn’t listed before, and I haven’t really tried anything else since. so not sure what happened
