"Adding additional users to your home requires a Plex Pass "

I am trying to add another managed user but get the “Adding additional users to your home requires a Plex Pass”. I already do have a plex pass and only have 2 home users. What is going on here?

Stop your server and restart it
close your web browser, wait a few moments, then reload the web app app.plex.tv

Turns out all that was needed was a browser update.

I am having the same problem (I have a lifetime Plex Pass). Server and browser restarts did not seem to fix it. I’m running Plex Media Server 1.18.2.2029 on a Synology DS718+. Any other suggestions?

Hi, i also have lifetime plass, and from today I have the same problem, I get the message “Adding additional users to your home requires Plex Pass.” and I no longer have the possibility of adding users to my home. I tried to upgrade the server to version 1.18.2.2041 and update/restart the browser, but the problem was not solved. Is it possible to do something else?

This is a bug in the web app which will be fixed shortly.
In the mean time you can use Plex Media Player or activate “Automatically Sign In” in Plex Web.
