This is wrong.
the only thing that should be there is this if you are going to be putting all your TV shows in there. /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/homes/New TV shows
it will see everything in that “New TV shows” folder

The actual show is called “Medici” not “Medici 2”
Thanks for your replies. I now see what the Plex procedure is. It seems the major part of my problem has been the directory/folder structure that was set up on my nas. I will have to rationalise the structure once I understand it.

Do NOT use the build-in QNAP share named Multimedia for your medias!

Thanks for all your help and advice, it was much appreciated. Some of the links provided I had been looking for before without success and I now have them bookmarked. As a first time user, it is often difficult to search through all the unfamiliar references to get to the ones I need.
I have now set up my QNAP and Plex media server and it is all going well.
