I am in the fortunate position of having a second WD MyCloud NAS. I thought it would be simple to link the two libraries by browsing to the new NAS location and adding the relevant folder, but I am foxed by what I assumed was a simple thing, Can I link the two? The libraries are correctly named on the two devices, but my attempts at ‘browsing to’ new folder on either NAS have failed. I have tried adding by IP address and by drive letter, to no avail. I have seen a post from years ago saying it isn’t possible, but nothing recent. Other NAS seem to have a way, but I can’t see anything on WD MyCloud NAS. Am I missing something, or does it remain not possible, and I will have to bite the bullet and buy a much larger NAS after all.
Any help appreciated.

Provide as much detail as possible. Which models do you have, is the server running on the NAS or say on a pc and just points to the media on the NAS? I have multiple WD MyCloud NAS drives and they all have their own fixed IP address. I run the server on a PC or NVIDIA Shield and just use the NAS for storage.
Thanks for getting back.
They are both PR4100 (24tb and a 16tb), I run the server at present on the 24tb, although I watch everything through a Shield. Both NAS have fixed ip addresses.
From what you say of your setup, it’s possible to run Plex server on the Shield pointing to the two NAS as just storage.
Hope this information helps
Yes that’s correct. I also have multiple servers running, a PC And a Shield. If you have this, your port forwarding will have to increment for each server. Hope you got your issue resolved.
