I am using the following agents, for scraping meta data;
I am having an issue with two well known adult actresses, not showing under their usual “stage” names. I have the “Include adult content” radio button ticked.
Victoria Paris is showing as Sheila Young and Jane Darling is showing as Jane May? I have checked the data at the TMDB and it correctly lists them with their correct stage names.
I have refreshed meta data, but am at a loss at to why the correct names are not pulling through ok?
I also have a separate issue with some actors/actresses showing twice in my searches (duplicate records) and some of their filmographies showing on one actors page and the rest on the other, is this because there is two sets of data feeding into and conflicting on the Plex agent perhaps?
The above actress’s duplication was recently resolved, however the issue remains for a number of other actors and actresses.
Any help with these two issues would be gratefully received. Please let me know if any further data is required to explain the issue better?
I’m having the Same Problem with Teri Weigel and Uschi Digard
Who knows how many others?
Since Teri Weigel is listed as Christina Walker in “Teri Weigel Video Centerfold”, I think it should be obvious that the wrong name is displayed , on Plex’s Own Site !
The only solution I can think of, is to manually load all movie information in the “collection” onto “TMDB” and then just scrape only from the TMDB agent and see what it pulls through?

“Karen Hutt” is actually “Uschi Digard”
That’s her professional name, but all 27 titles I have of hers has her showing as “Karen Hutt” … no tragedy, but still annoying
It must be pulling that name from somewhere? I checked over at TMDB and Uschi Digard, is referred to as that for her main name…
You could try moving her movies to a new folder and having a separate section for her? Than try just using TMDB to scrape that folder and see what you get?
I’ll try something similar once I get back from a trip.
So I did a little test. I set up a new folder and placed one file in it, containing a movie with Victoria Paris in it.
I then set the following;
Scanner is Plex Movie Scanner
Agent is The Movie Database
Low and behold, it pulled the correct info across
Historically, on the original folder containing the movies, the Scanner is Plex Movie and Agent is also Plex Movie.
So, I guess if everything you have is at The Movie Database and correctly recorded, i’d set my scanner and agent as above? And then in theory all data should pull through correctly…
Now to decide if I move each file, one by one, making sure they are uploaded correctly at The Movie Database…
