Current Subtitle customization is pretty basic. Something in Kodi style would be awesome.
- Set exact position of subtitles (not only predefinied ones)
- Subtitle manual sync (+ - Subtitle time)
- Tags support
etc.
You should already be able to adjust the subtitle offset

What do you have in mind w/ “Tags support”? Like HTML tags to allow italic/bold subtitles?
Mind sharing what “etc’s” you have in mind?
Unfortunatelly android version lacks that feature.
Also the ability to set the customizatton “on the fly”, or as you are watching
I cannot do it and I’m not running it on android… Any suggestions?
I came here looking for suggesting my needs about subtitle customization. I watch a lot of anime and it is really a pain to read current subtitles. Please add the option to make them BOLD. My entire life will change with this. Please. Please.
At least the “desktop” players already have this: Customizing Subtitle appearance in Plex Player for Windows/Mac and Plex HTPC and PMP
I think the gist of this is asking for more robust options for subtitles in all apps.
There is already and existing suggestion for this with more votes. So I am closing this and suggest putting your votes on this other one instead
