I currently run. Synology RS2416+ as storage and PMS. I was advised here recently to get a nVidia Shield for best playback compatibility and I have ordered one, you cant get the Pro in Australia so I’m stuck with the 16GB version. I read that Plex will now be comparable with external storage on the Shield following a recent update.
My question is, should I move the PMS to the Shield or keep it on the NAS? I plan to install the Plex playback app on the Shield and connect that directly to my TV.
Hoping the Shield arrives this week.
