And to update a little…I just tried using the direct IP address to access my server…it’s no longer coming up as “undefined” and at first I thought it was working again…but when I try to click on any of the different sections or libraries it just reloads the home page. If I use the Plex hosted web app, everything works fine.
I had the “no soup” issue after a restart of the browser all the time. A re-login usualy fixed it for that session, but applying what the above link says, seems like a permanent solution.
So I didn’t change anything…however, today it seems to be back to working again…so weird.
That works for me.
Thanks!
This did not work for me.
you are correct, issue resolved for one session then back to the same problem.
Screenshots show javascript errors loading files. Which may be unrelated.
Same thing happened to me after upgrading PMS from Version 1.14.1.5488 to 1.15.2.793 on Windows 10.
“Fix” was to run the 1.15.2.793 installer with option “Uninstall.” Reboot, then go back into C:\Users\admin\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Updates and re-install the previously working version 1.14.1.5488.
I have the same problem on Linux/Debian. Problem appeared since last update
The problem was introduced by the update to Plex Web version 3.83.1 with PMS version 1.15.1.707.
Only self hosted Plex Web is affected. The online version of Plex Web https://app.plex.tv/ and other client are not affected.
Just updated to version: 1.15.2.793-782228f99 and I still have the same problem.
Even when using https://app.plex.tv/desktop ?
If this was not clear enough: the online version is NOT affected.
https just fixed this for me at the local ip and on ubuntu with version 1.15.2.793. I no longer get duplicate dashboards and the no soup message is gone.
This did it for me as well. External Access never seemed to be an issue
I’m getting the same issue as well! When are they going to fix it?
About the same time you read through this thread for the solution.
Its great to have work around of using the web based app but plex actually fixing the dashboard would be nice.
HTTPS was working for me but I am now getting it using that as well.
Rolling back to an old version is not a fix. It is a workaround.
Same here, “No Soup for you” no connection via Http or plex for ios. I’ve rolled back to 1.14.1.5488 and its more stable. Come on Plex sort it out. Awful update!!
