After disk failure and restoring files with Time Machine, can't record, some existing files will play, some will not play

Playing or recording live TV:
Does not start, sends the message “Playback error. cannot tune channel”
Activity indicator at top right of screen shows activity and reports “Recording live TV session”

Playing previously recorded shows:
Some will play, but flicker several times at start.
For others, from the TV Shows screen, can not open the screen to see the Seasons for a show, get the message “There was an unexpected error loading this item”

Previously recorded shows will play on other apps.
Live TV shows can be tuned and played with other apps.

I wonder of some files needed by Plex were not restored.

It’s possible that the Plex database has become corrupted. You can try a repair:
