After June update Plex stopped working on NVIDIA Shield

Server Version#:
Player Version#:

Hi all.

I just updated the version of the client and the server on my NVIDIA shield.

After the update nothing seems to work anymore.

The client says it cannot find any server on the network. If I try to connect to the admin web app on 32400 I get an ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED error.

I can’t connect via app.plex.tv nor with the android app.

Before everything used to work, even outside my network (I had enabled remote access and forwarded port 32400 through the router).

Only change has been the upgrade.

I tried to terminate and restart both the client and the server on the shield, and even rebooted the device a couple of times but nothing changed.

Other apps and media players such as Kodi are still working and accessing the stuff on the NAS, and other computers are working perfectly, so it’s not a network issue.

Same issue here. Here’s what I tried with the results.

My router is a D-Link DIR-882. I run Plex Media Server on a NVidia Shield.
The Shield is on a reserved IP. I can see and interact with it from my home
network with no issues at all.

I cannot connect to the server from outside of my network. I’ve followed the instructions on https://support.plex.tv/articles/200931138-troubleshooting-remote-access/, just to be sure:

----------Attempt #1---------
UPnP is enabled. There is no port forwarding nor virtual server.
No firewall (at least that I know of!)
On plex.tv settings: remote access was enabled, manual port was unchecked.
Got that “Not available outside your network” message.

----------Attempt #2---------
UPnP is enabled. There is no port forwarding nor virtual server.
No firewall (at least that I know of!)
On plex.tv settings: remote access was enabled, manual port was CHECKED,
used port 32400.
Got that “Fully accessible outside your network” for a few seconds then the
“Not available outside your network” message.
Disabling and reenabling remote access got the OK message followed by the “Not available” after
a few seconds.

----------Attempt #3---------
UPnP is enabled. No firewall (at least that I know of!)
On plex.tv settings: remote access was enabled, manual port was CHECKED,
used port 32400.
Created a port forward rule for the local IP of the Shield, with TCP and UDP ports 32400.
Got that “Fully accessible outside your network” message. That worked for hours,
but suddenly I got the “Not available outside your network” message again.
(On a later attempt the “fully accessible message” appear for just a few seconds)

----------Attempt #4---------
Disabled UPnP. No firewall (at least that I know of!)
On plex.tv settings: remote access was enabled, manual port was CHECKED,
used port 32400.
Created a port forward rule for the local IP of the Shield, with TCP and UDP ports 32400.
Got that “Fully accessible outside your network” message, then in a few seconds,
but suddenly I got the “Not available outside your network” message again.

----------Attempt #5---------
Disabled UPnP. No firewall (at least that I know of!)
On plex.tv settings: remote access was enabled, manual port was UNCHECKED.
Created a port forward rule for the local IP of the Shield, with TCP and UDP ports 32400.
I got the “Not available outside your network” message again.

Very frustrating.

I can post the logs if someone want to check them.

Seeing the same.
