Unable to access Plex server remotely despite remote access being enabled

I’m having trouble accessing my Plex server at certain peoples houses but not at others.
For example I’m currently at my girlfriends house and can access it but I cannot access it from my dads house. Remote access is enabled obviously but when I have tried to access it at my dads (on an iPad) nothing happens. I apologise if I’m just being silly and the solution is right in front of me but I think I need some help troubleshooting the issue.

My server is on my Nvidia Shield, It has a static IP, ports are forwarded and my PMS and player are the latest version.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I have these symptoms as of late. My setup is the same, and nothing has changed except for recent Plex server updates (and obvious automatic client updates that you have no control of)

I notice after some time, even on 1.14.0.5470, Plex reports that it’s “not available outside your network”. When clicking on “Retry”, Plex immediately reports that it’s now available… but then 10 seconds latest my local client reports the server is offline.

Nothing else on my Synology NAS has issue with hosted services from the internet, such as various HTTP/S sites that are on the same box (that keep working when Plex reports it is not). I might try an alternate port on the public side of my firewall to see if that has any effect.

Edit: Tried alternate port vs 32400 - working so far but will wait for results next day or two

I m stuck with same situation after upgrade, my old IDs are working fine but IDs created after update can not able to connect and say Unauthorized.
