After movie credits end, Unable to use menus or back

When a movie finishes. It gets to screen that suggests other movies. If I hit the back button in the remote, nothing happens. The navigation menus that are typically on the left hand side are not there. My only option is to start one of the suggested movies, press back, and then I get the Home Screen with the menus etc.

I can replicate this 10 times out of 10

With which version of the Plex app for Apple TV and on what version of tvOS are you experiencing this behavior?

Sorry I wasn’t home when I made the post and I was lazy with the numbers…
Plex Version is 8.35(8302)
TV OS version is 17.5.1

I have had this similar issue with Plex for Apple TV.

Plex Server: 1.40.3.8555
Plex Client(TV OS): 8.36.1

I found that if I let the client sit on the screen after the movie/show ends and don’t use it for a bit(an hour or more) I can’t use the back button. I have pressed and hold the back button to have it take me to the Home screen of the Apple TV and then go back into the Plex app. After that it works.

I have confirmed this is the case. It’s when the credits roll to the end, and Plex/Apple TV goes to sleep.
