After Password update: First I could not login, now I can't claim the server

Player Version#: browser

After I reset my password - because I saw a weird login, which in the end wasn’t, just Vodafone’s interconnections are weird, but I digress - I was not able to logon on my Desktop Browser. It wanted me to login again, but when I clicked the button it threw me to a black page. After several attempts I rebooted, and in the end I logged in via localhost and not app.plex.tv. That worked, but now it looks like the server is unclaimed. When it prompts me to claim it, I am beeing thrown to the same black page. The address looks like

https://app.plex.tv/auth/#!?clientID=

and a really long URL with many IDs and PINs. As I said, the page looks blank, i.e. black (better: plex-grey).

Any suggestions? Will I have to reinstall the server?
