After the latest client update I get a black screen and the blue swirlie in windows

Player Version#: cant get in to see, but whatever the latest is
Got an update to plex for windows yesterday, still worked then, this morning I start plex for windows and I get a black screen (more like the dark grey background of plex) and nothing more./ If I point the mouse at it I get the blue ‘swirlie’ that indicates ‘wait’ in windows. Nothing else.

Any idea or suggestions on what to do or try or check??

Interesting. I came here to post the exact same thing.

The strange thing is I don’t think it’s an issue with this Plex build because I’ve reinstalled the latest version and also an older version and am still getting the same issue.

Edit - Running as an admin “fixes” whatever is causing the freeze on startup, but that’s not really a solution.
