After update to Version 1.23.5. 4862 can connect using app.plex.tv but Roku says server unavailable

Plex installed on unraid and have been watching it on our TV using ROKU or app.plex.tv on my laptop. Worked fine for a looong time until I got a notice of an update last week. After the update, I could connect using app.plex.tv and android app on my phone, but when I tried to use ROKU on the TV, only got all those streaming channels, podcasts, etc. Trying to access media from my library produces a “Plex is currently unavailable” error.
Media still available on the server. After fighting with it for a long time, I tried rebuilding it from scratch, resulting in the same problem.
I previously had the server named Plex-Tower so I changed it to just “Plex.” No help.

Server Version#: Version 1.23.5.4862
Player Version#:

Plex Media Server Logs_2021-07-27_20-25-32.zip (2.0 MB)

can you share your roku logs

Happily if I could find them. Looked thru all the on screen Roku menus and didn’t seed anything about logs.
Would you please direct me to where I can get them.

Thanks

the link to instructions is in my previous post. please use the local option

I finally found what you were talking about. I initially assumed the logging was in the ROKU settings but found out how to enable it in Plex. Enabled both local and remote logging. Hope you can see it. I went through both viewing various live streaming media (which works) as well as trying to access my media on my server which still produces a “Plex is currently unavailable” message.
Let me know if I you need me to do anything else.
Thanks.

FWIW, saw that there was an update to the Plex docker this morning. Hoped it would fix my problem and installed it, but no luck.

Was the info I supplied of any help? Can look for more if needed.

please follow the local instructions in the link and copy the logs from your browser to a text file which you can then attach to a reply here

Sorry for the trouble but accidently stumbled on to the solution.
Have had the server and ROKU on the same 5GB home network for a long time.
When trying to get to the logs, I couldn’t connect to the ROKU over the home network. Eventually looked at the network connections and saw that the ROKU was connected to an old 5GB guest network I had created on my router for use with the ROKU but which I don’t use anymore.
Switched the ROKU network connection to the network I had been using and things suddenly worked.

Sorry for the trouble.
