New user to Plex! yay! It's friggin awesome so far.. I started using Plex because I bought a Roku and wanted to watch my downloaded content on it. Like many, many others.. anyway It's running ontop of Ubuntu 12.4.1 LTS on a SFF Dell optiplex 744 with 2gigs of ram and a FirePro V3800 (wasnt sure if GPU's affected the media server but I had it so I installed it)
The issue is, I can search IMBD for 'The West' by Ken Burns and find it listed there. However Plex cannot.. I even installed the OpenMovieDatabase agent and restarted the service but still no results.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks!
Just to clarify I’m not asking solely because of this one movie… but there seems to be a disconnect for numerous other ‘non-headliner’ movies released.
If so, you probably have better luck if it’s placed in a “TV” section instead of a “Movies” section (it’s listed on TheTVDB http://thetvdb.com/?tab=series&id=80105&lid=7, which Plex uses as a source for TV series).
Oh wow… ok I assumed being the imdb agent searched it would return the results regardless of the category or channel it was housed in. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
