Here’s what happens. I have 2 distinct premium music libraries; one for my FLAC files, and one for my MP3 files. My FLAC and MP3 directories are complete mirror images of each other. So, basically I have FLAC\U2\1987 - The Joshua Tree<all the FLAC files for The Joshua Tree>, and I have MP3\U2\1987 - The Joshua Tree<all the MP3 files for The Joshua Tree>. I have all my CDs ripped to FLAC first, and then I convert them to MP3 into a mirror directory.
I create my MP3 library first in Plex. All the cover art is read correctly from the MP3s and the library is created perfectly. Then, I create my matching FLAC library (again, same artists, same albums). I verify that my cover art is read correctly from the FLAC files and put in the library. However, if I go back to my MP3 library in Plex, it looks like the cover art is all missing.
Am I crazy?
