WD my cloud home/Plex - problems with missing embedded album covers

I’ve following info/suggestions on the forum but still wouldn’t find a solution for the missing embedded album covers.

Plex Version 1.12.2.4964
My cloud home 5.0.5-104

The music library has no problem of showing the embedded album cover until recently (couple weeks ago) decided to rebuild the media whole library mainly to tidy things up.

Plex setting with

• use embedded tags
• Agents, with Local media assets at top for both artists/album etc.

Annoying thing is it worked before!
Any help/suggestions would be much appreciated

Your library is not finished with scanning. The “spinner” is still shown.

Fetching metadata is a second step, which can take much longer on such a weak NAS.

this is my second trying as after the first scan last week it didn’t show the covers I deleted everything and started over again.

really frustrating, with only one album for testing, no cover art

the cover is there but just not showing!

any suggestions would be much appreciated

Is 1.12.2 really the latest version available for the MyCloud ?

Does Plex on Windows behave the same?

this is the pre-installed version with the WD my cloud home that worked before.

I might tried the newer version on Windows to see if that work or not

well, it works for the newer windows version

so, it’s nothing wrong with the embedded tags, guess have to wait for WD/Plex to update.
