Alerted by Plex (web) about new version but

When logging into web view of Plex I get the “A Plex Media Server update is available for the server __________!” Download now

So I download.
I go into my Synology package update to manually update.
I get “This package is not supported on the platform of DiskStation or is incompatible with the current DSM version.”

This is frustrating.
Why alert me to an update, give me a download link, automatically select the file and download it with no input from me, and then fail?

Please don’t be pedantic, I know there is no automatic installation, just a wording error amidst frustration.

Perhaps you guys should turn off the in-console “there is an update” gold ribbon banner…my PLEX just got bricked with a “Failed to run package service” error after updating to PlexMediaServer-1.18.0.1892-6887070bc-armv7hf_neon upon prompt, from PlexMediaServer-1.18.0.1846-f62172e99-armv7hf_neon

Of course now I can not downgrade, it will not allow me to do so.

What to do now…

If you read, I said “automatically select the file” not automatically install as you insisted.
