Alexa can't access Plex server since latest update

Server Version#: Version 4.95.2

Alexa was working fine remote accessing music on my server. But since I updated to new version, Alexa just says ‘your server appears to be online but not remotely accessible’ or similar verbiage.

I’ve shut off remote access on the Plex server and then added it back, reinstalled the Alex Plex skill on the Android phone but nothing has worked. I’m out of ideas. Anyone got any other ideas?

Have you tried accessing your server remotely to make sure it is working?

How would I do that? I’ve only ever used Plex via Alexa and the website accessed through my computer. Is there another way?

Do you have a cell phone? You can use the Plex app for iOs or Android, sign into your account, try to access your server. If it doesn’t work, then your remote access is not setup properly.
